Prepvana (operated by Saftara, LLC) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. What we collect

Account: your name and email address.
Content you provide: résumés, job postings, recruiter notes, and any interview intel you paste — used to generate your prep.
Usage: basic activity needed to run and secure the Service.
Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card number.

2. How we use it

To create your tailored prep, operate and secure your account, process payments, and communicate service messages. We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI processing

To generate a prep, the relevant parts of your résumé and job details are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic). This is done under terms that do not use your data to train AI models. We send only what the task needs.

4. Service providers

We share data with providers that help us run Prepvana: Anthropic (AI generation), Stripe (payments), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (bot protection), and an email provider for verification and notifications. Each processes data only to provide their service.

5. Retention & deletion

You can delete an individual prep, or delete your entire account, at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, saved résumés, and preps from our database. Backups and provider logs may persist briefly per their standard retention.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and the database connection is encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your information. To exercise any right, use Settings or email us. We honor applicable US state privacy rights (e.g., CCPA).

8. Cookies

We use a single essential, httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third‑party advertising cookies.

9. Children

Prepvana is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
